Did you know that the Madison County Extension Office is a "branch office" of Ohio State University? We are one of 88 field offices of Ohio State University. The Ohio State University Extension is funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Ohio State University, and Madison County Commissioners. Our Madison County ofice is your front door to the Ohio State University!
We are the world's largest non-formal educational system. Our practical education programs combine the needs of local citizens and communities, with new research and technical information. A few areas of focus are agriculture, 4-H youth development, environment and leadership. These programs are continuously being evaluted and updated to meet the changing needs and issues facing our community.
Overall, Extension's mission is to help improve and strengthen the lives of Ohioans and we want to start right here in Madison County. We have answers for communities and individuals. Our clients are Ohioans - rural, urban, all ages, sizes and races. Our clients are YOU.
The OSU Extension Madison County Office is open Monday - Friday, from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. We are located on the Madison County Fairgrounds at 217 Elm Street, London, Ohio. We can be reached by calling 740-852-0975 or visiting our website at madison.osu.edu.
